Packaging
Jääde’s Bag-in-Box (BIB) packaging consists of two parts: the outer part is 75% corrugated box and the inner part is a transparent flexible packaging bag.
The inner bag of BIB packaging is composed of three sealed layers of bags which consist of PE/EVOH which acts as an oxygen barrier layer:
Sustainable
Comprising 75% corrugated box, our BIB is fully recyclable with the bags themselves crafted from 53% renewable and recycled materials. The design allows for easy separation of the box and bag, facilitating efficient sorting and sending of both components into current recycling streams.
Hygienic
The BIB inner bag is currently the most hygienic form of packaging for drinking water, as it maintains product hygiene even after opening until the water is completely consumed.
With an integrated valve design patented internationally, the pressurized water outlet prevents air from flowing back, preventing bacterial intrusion, eliminating secondary contamination, and maintaining freshness for up to two weeks after opening.
